Group Publishing was founded over 50 years ago by a youth ministry worker named Thom Schultz, who was struggling to find resources and inspiration for his own ministry. Thom started a magazine called GROUP to inspire ministry leaders and help them build meaningful relationships in the context of ministry.
Group soon expanded into creating children’s ministry curriculum, VBS kits, small group resources, and more church resources. Today, Group is one of the leading creators of VBS curriculum in the U.S., and millions of children and families experience the truth of the gospel every year through their programs.
